Niche Marketing On Google

If you have set up your niche marketing business and plan to depend on organic traffic through Google there are some important issues you must consider.

New marketing businesses hoping to get traffic from organic ranking will find the path very difficult or near impossible. Well established websites dominate the first page ranking on Google and unless you have a very well defined, well research niche market, penetrating the first page is almost impossible.

This is why selecting your niche market is SO important.

Ranking on the first page of a Google search depends on many things and pulling all these together takes training, time and sometimes money. Websites that dominate the page ranking have among other things, domain age, content and inbound one - way links.

I have pointed out these three things because of their importance and because there is no easy or quick solution to over come this disadvantage. There is nothing one can do about the domain age, getting content and building links takes time and effort.

Using an affiliate product for a niche business has become more and more difficult with Google. Google is disqualifying more and more ads and website in its AdWords Market than ever before. There is a great deal of conversation on the business forums about this issue.

One of the main reasons given is poor site quality. Google is eliminating websites which, in their opinion, provides little value to the web searcher. There are attempting to provide the highest quality results for a search term with AdWords.

This same philosophy is carried over into its organic search results. If you do not have a quality website, with all the Google elements, you will simply not get ranked high.

Google is about making money for Google and never forget that. It commands such a larger amount of the search traffic that it can set all the terms and conditions. For a new website to gain first page ranking it must comply with their terms and conditions.

Having a webpage with a page one ranking (Google ranks pages, not websites) is not impossible. If you have the right niche keywords, those with little competition, you can reach that first page but if your keywords have competition you will have an uphill battle.

I hope this gives you some in-site into the difficulties you face attempting to gain organic traffic. If you are new to niche marketing, build your website for organic traffic but consider pay-per-click to advertise until you find yourself getting organic traffic.

Also, use the free sites to advertise your website. Use these sites for back links but also to drive traffic to your website. You can use them to promote your affiliate product but you get more value from advertising your website. Get traffic to you site so you can then advertise your niche product along with ClickBank and AdSense.

Niche marketing techniques change and a niche marketer must do the same. Since the search engines control what is seen on the internet then we must adjust to what is required to maintain our niche businesses presence.

Satisfying Google and the other search engines is just one aspect of niche marketing.
