World Internet Summit Products - Simplespeed

The World Internet Summit is an awesome event where some of the world's top internet guru's gather to impart knowledge to rooms teaming with budding entrepreneurs. So is the World Internet Summit everything it's cracked up to be? Well it really depends on what you're hoping to get out of it. If you're looking for a good introduction to the world of internet marketing the World Internet Summit is great. If you're looking to rub shoulders with positive thinking entrepreneurs and network it's even better. If you're looking for get rich quick solutions and shortcuts to internet wealth stay away as the World Internet Summit will not deliver; nor does it purport to. You're exactly the target market and you will come away with your credit card severely bruised.

For those who have not attended the format of the World Internet Summit is simple. A diverse range of internet related subjects, each brought to you by an expert in the field. Each presentation ends with the speaker offering a bundled package of goodies for what in the cold light of day in the high street is a ridiculous amount of money, but in the feeding frenzy of the moment seems reasonable in relation to the riches it promises. However if something looks too good to be true it usually is, so tread with caution and read the fine print. My advice to you, and believe me I'm very well qualified to give it, is go ahead and attend, but leave your credit card behind. If you're a person that can't resist temptation sit on the aisle and leave each presentation 10 minutes before the end.

The summit is the brain child of Brett McFall and Tom Hua, both highly accomplished in their field. Both have products to sell, and I have purchased both. Brett is a very smooth character, well versed in the art of public speaking and even better groomed in the art of sales psychology and closing the deal. He can sell sand to the Arabs.

Brett's latest launch is a software product called "SimpleSpeed". It is very well marketed and well presented. SimpleSpeed is essentially semi automated web building software that creates sexy websites using WordPress templates. It's unique selling point is that in addition to creating the website it has a unique footer bar at the bottom. This footer includes many, sometimes thousands of related articles extracted from article sites, and many you tube videos. It also allows you to market ClickBank products, and the cream on the top is an autoresponder called WordSpeed that automatically sends emails to your subscribers and build the list.

However we all know that it matters not how sexy or appealing your website is if it doesn't get traffic. Herein lies the beating heart of SimpleSpeed in that it uses expired domains that have established backlinks. The theory is that once relaunched the links are still valid and will bring traffic to your site. It matters not whether the domain name is "ladiesunderwear.com" and you're selling construction equipment on the site. It comes with software that lists the top 100 expired domains on GoDaddy with the number of backlinks. This list is refreshed every four hours.

SimpleSpeed is very easy to use, comes with excellent training videos that really are idiot proof and has a back office support unequalled on the internet. It builds great websites, although not always related to the topic you choose, and can be monetised in many ways including ClickBank, Google AdSense, commission junction, Amazon and eBay.

On the downside the WordSpeed software in my opinion needs more work. The beauty about WordSpeed is that it automatically compiles emails using articles so you don't need to compile them yourselves. If you're into IM you will know how tedious that can be, but I found that in certain instances the emails were unformatted and made no sense, so I would suggest that you check the email and edit before sending. The server speed was slow but Brett has since invested in upgrading it which will hopefully solve the problem.

After making your investment you need to purchase expired domains at about 10 a hit which rapidly builds into a significant additional expense.

Whether old links on expired domains actually do bring in traffic; for me the jury is out.

Brett offers a no questions asked refund policy subject to certain conditions having been met, which after adequate due diligence he honours. The exercise period of 45 days is however woefully inadequate for one to form a considered opinion. The software takes 5 days to arrive after purchase, and you have to wait a further week after you purchase your expired domains from GoDaddy for them to be transferred.

The purchase price gives you access to the software for a fixed period after which it reverts to a subscription service. This is of course fine if the sites are earning in excess of the subscription at the time.

For me personally it didn't quite do the job, but I'm a relative Newbie I've no doubt that for many it will. I wish you luck with the product which I'm sure Brett will continue to enhance. I have 50 expired domains with serious backlinks for sale at a discounted price if you're interested.

Til next time

Steve
