An affiliate company acts as a third party in the sales process. They bring together companies who have products and services to sell with publishers who are prepared to promote such products and services in return for a commission. This is generally agreed upon before the publisher even considers a promotional campaign. The affiliate network is also responsible for all sales requirements including those of shipping and handling.
Each and every network has a variety of products and services, commission rates, advertising rules and so forth. Finding the very best affiliate company can be of course subjective due to the personal requirements of both advertiser and publisher. However in saying that I have found the following 3 companies to be of an exceptional high standard. Checks are always received on time. Queries are answered promptly. And customers seem to enjoy their experience when dealing with each of these networks.
Amazon (Website Address: amazon.com)
Amazon is by far one of my favorite networks. The joining process is rather simple, with many advertising choices available to website and blog owners. If you are not a member of this network you are certainly leaving a lot of easy commissions on the table! Although Amazon do not offer affiliates high commissions what you can be sure of is a high sales volume. You will sell many products to make up for the lesser commission rate. Amazon pay affiliates every month.
ClickBank (Website Address: clickbank.com)
ClickBank is another favorite network of mine. Yes it can be a bit harder to sell digital products but the high commission rates make it very worth while. Some products and services offer monthly residual income. What I have found with this particular network is that you need to own the digital product or at least use the service you are recommending. It makes for a legitimate review, which is ultimately what potential buyers are looking for. Amazon can provide that for you because customers are able to leave their own feedback about the products they purchase. ClickBank pays every 2 weeks.
Google AdSense (Website Address: google.com/adsense/)
Although the Google AdSense program does not offer a wide range of products it is still an affiliate network of sorts. Reliable, indeed they are! Once your account reaches the minimum balance which I think is around $100 you will receive your check. Some people are earning huge incomes from the AdSense program alone. It is an easy program to use and some people combine AdSense with other affiliate networks. Be sure to check the terms and conditions before you place the AdSense ads on your blog or website, Google are very particular.
Conclusion
Affiliate networks as mentioned above are subjective to each and every person. With a little effort on your part you can be guaranteed that you will get paid on time should you choose one or all three of the networks recommended.
