A lot of members at HubPages focus to much on the earning of money through the AdSense program but I want to explain to you how simple it is to earn money through some other methods. These are methods that are used by some very wealthy Internet Marketers and work very well.
Affiliate Marketing through companies such as ClickBank and CJ can work very well in your favour as these companies offer a huge range of products not accessed by a huge range of people within HubPages. HubPages has some very good rankings within the top search engines such as Google and for this reason I personally use HubPages to promote products I have carefully selected through ClickBank.
I personally buy a lot of products from ClickBank myself and like to share my experiences with other people out there about what works and what does not work. I have written many reviews on HubPages about particular products that I have found to be very helpful along the way.
One of the keys to making a very successful HubPage is to select a list of 10 - 20 keywords that you feel apply to you Hub you are writing. You need to research these keywords by clicking on each individual one to check out your competition for these particular words. It is also a good idea to run a search in Google for the Title of what you wish to name your hub to work out how much competition you are going to be getting from the search engines. Believe it or not and I am speaking from many hours of analysing data that traffic you get paid for comes from the Google Search Engine itself and not so much from HubPages internally. That means that it is the people on Google who are actually searching for these products that end up being the buyers.
It is also important to be active in the HubPages Community and jump on the forums, give your feedback, raise questions and get answers and help other people out. Doing this builds your reputation with HubPages. Just like if you were on a Forum building reputation, HubPages works the same way.
Fresh Content: This is a must, you always need to be adding fresh, original content into Hubs to become a successful "Hubber". Your HubScore reflects your originality of your hubs.
It is not that hard if you know what you are doing to have a Hub on the first page of Google, sometimes even within the first 3 spots!
Building backlinks to your hubs internally is also a great way to bring up your hubscore and I have found this a very good way of getting hubs that aren't ranked high in Google more noticed by people and still resulting in sales from doing this.
