Even if you are a complete newbie you can become an affiliate marketer with or without a website and regardless of what you have read all over the net you don't need to be computer savvy,you need no experience at all to make money online.
The first thing you will need to decide is how you want to market your products since that will determine where you need to start.Do you want to build a website,blog,or just advertise your links in articles or forums.My suggestion would be all of the above.However if you are a complete newbie start with a blog since one they are easier to create then a website and two they are free after all you are here to make money not lose it right?
Lets say you are going to build a blog,first choose your content (it can be anything from weight loss to sports but keep your content the same). Go to ClickBank or commission junction both are great marketplaces for affiliates and sign up for a free account.Then click on the promote products link at the top of the page.Choose the products you want to promote trust me there are tons and click get hoplink. Once you have have copied it go to your blog click on edit Html and paste it where you want it.When someone clicks on that link and makes a purchase you get a commission.Sounds easy right?It is!
The other great thing about creating a blog or website is you can add Google AdSense.Once you have signed up for a Google account all you have to do is click on add Google AdSense to my blog and they will place ads to your blog according to the type of products you are promoting so everytime someone clicks on those ads you get paid.
If you don't want to create a website or blog you don't need to,you can simply copy the hoplinks of the products you want to promote and post those links in articles or forums.The best thing about this is it is all free advertising,I would post as many places as you can to create a viral affect whether or not you have a website or blog,you still want your links out there for people to see.Remember no customers-no money.If you do have a blog start off by submitting it to digg.com and blogcatalog.com,you can also submit it to Googlereader. Bottom line is get the word out there and you can make money as an affiliate.
