Today I woke up and looked at my email again, just like I do every morning. Of course I have 3-4 email accounts I must check. Most just contain junk, offers from various text ad exchanges, safelists, and opt-ins I signed up for to get that free product that I thought I could not do without. Then I take a look at my Clickbank and PayPal accounts to see if I made any money. A couple bucks...not bad, but not enough to pay all the bills. But it was not so long ago that I checked my accounts and saw nothing, zip, nothing, a big fat zero. The question is: how did I go from making zero to beginning to put my campaigns on autopilot and seeing some real results everyday.
The answer is easy, how I got there is not. I, like you, have bought countless programs and e-books that I thought was going to make me "big" money. Of course they all failed. I spent a lot on those programs, and most just sit on my hard drive. In this fast paced world, I probably will not have the time to look at them again. I am almost disgusted by how much junk I bought, and how much money I wasted on them. SUCKER! That is what I am! But, after enough time in this internet marketing world, I finally learned. I barely spend fifty dollars a month now, all well spent for link-building and traffic. I now make much more than the fifty dollars I spend every month.
Here is the answer to the question above: You must have your own site or blog that YOU can optimize for search engines, and then monetize the way you like. You must also have a tremendous auto-responder system, that will get you money month after month, year after year. These are the key to making wealth on the internet. You may not become one of the "gurus', but you will make enough to provide a substantial secondary income. You do not need your own product, or spend thousands on programmers. Just some basic programs, and a lot of hard work.
I would recommend setting up your own blog on a place like Blogger, or WordPress, these are free to join, and you can find hundreds of video tutorials for free on YouTube and various other video sites. With WordPress, you can add plug-ins and widgets to add great content and even optimize your site for search engines. You can also monetize your site with Clickbank products, Amazon products, Google AdSense, and so on. Once you master FTP and WordPress, you can then create one site after another.
After you learn about WordPress, plug-ins, widgets, seo, back-links and a couple more important things, you can then concentrate on finding your niche for each site you are about to create. Finding the right niche, and finding the right keyword are the most important part of the process. Everything starts with those two. Once you find a great niche, then you get great keywords, after that comes the WordPress site and plug-ins. Then it is time to start making money. Not right away though. You must get your site listed with search engines, then you must improve your ranking by building back-links. I know this sounds complicated, and some of it is. But you can learn a lot of it by just going to YouTube and searching for things like WordPress, plug-ins, back-links, seo, and so on, and so on.
Do not buy expensive programs that claim to teach you all you need to know to make a million dollars. Most of this process can be learned for free, just take your time an look around, believe me, you will find a lot of great content on the internet.
